Materials Compositions

GlazeMaster has well over 100 material compositions built in. However, there are thousands of materials available to potters around the world. Sources for finding compositions of many of those materials are given in the User's Guide. In addition, as I find references for additional compositional information, I will list it here. The table below shows material compositions that are in a format that can be imported directly into GlazeMaster.

The process is simple: 1. Click on the link for the material of interest and a zipped .dif file will be downloaded automatically to your machine. 2. Locate that file on your hard drive (unzip it by right clicking and choosing Extract if you have a Windows machine; Macs usually unzip it automatically) 3. Follow the instructions on pages 59-60 of the User's Guide (2nd edition) to import that material composition into GlazeMaster. After you do it once or twice you'll be able to add materials very quickly if they are listed below.
